Design systems
Shared component libraries and tokens that let several teams ship work that still looks like one product, either through AI, or sheer will power.

Context
I built and maintained design systems across three very different clients: Netcetera, where a banking component library served three feature teams; Energy Radio, where brand and booking shared one kit; and MoneyPark, where a mortgage advisory product needed consistent, trustworthy patterns.
My role
- Owned the token layer for colour, type and spacing
- Built and documented the shared component library
- Ran the contribution model with feature teams
Approach
- Started from atomic tokens and scaled up to molecules and templates, so teams could compose without redrawing
- Documented every component with usage rules, dark-mode variants and accessibility notes
- Set up a contribution process so teams could propose and merge without a bottleneck
Outcome
- Teams shipping in the same week still produced visually consistent work
- Fewer design review cycles chasing spacing and colour drift
- A library new designers could pick up and extend without a hand-holding session
Skills used
- Design systems
- Design tokens
- Documentation
- Accessibility
- Cross-functional collaboration
